The Eclipse™ Spherical is an aero road helmet that brings together our best technologies in a lightweight and compact design, ideal for road racing and even gravel racing. The sleek, form-fitting outer shell actively streamlines airflow to reduce drag across multiple angles of incidence, while 14 Wind Tunnel™ vents channel air through the helmet to deliver incredible cooling power that rivals our road helmets with much more aggressive ventilation. Inside, the ball and socket design of Spherical Technology™ developed in conjunction with Mips®, the brain protection system, allows the EPS foam outer shell to rotate around the inner shell during an impact to help redirect forces impact away from the brain and thus reduce its adverse effects. In addition, the progressive stratification of the inner and outer shell helps to offer a more complete protection: the outer shell is stiffer to better resist impacts while the inner shell is "softer" to reduce the effects on the head. The Roc Loc® 5 Air size adjuster improves helmet stability and fit, while the Ionic+™ antimicrobial padding helps wick sweat and moisture and provides long-lasting antimicrobial performance.
