Completely redesigned, the DRT5 Maven features a more protective shell, an improved ventilation system, a fully adjustable fit and an outer shell with a low profile design. And because our eyewear DNA speaks volumes, the DRT5 Maven also offers seamless integration with eyewear and goggles. With an integrated goggle rest area and four-way adjustment visor, you'll always have all the flexibility you need, whatever the situation. FIT: The BOA 360° system includes an adjustment wheel that allows for an always secure and optimal fit.
ULTRA LIGHTNESS: weighing 60 grams less than the previous model, the DRT5 Maven helmet is lighter than ever.
PROTECTION: the Mips® brain protection system consists of a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet developed to reduce the rotational accelerations suffered by the brain tissue in the event of an impact, helping to protect against potential injuries.
VENTILATION: the DRT5 Maven helmet features a total of 19 ventilation holes, including the unprecedented openings on the front and on the top, to ensure optimal airflow and breathability at all times.
COMFORT: The DRT5 Maven is equipped with both the sweat protection ciliary band and the traditional fabric padding on the top of the helmet. The silicone gel sweat guard collects sweat from the forehead and deflects it to prevent it from getting on the glasses, while the fabric padding increases the contact points for greater comfort.
INTERNAL LINING: the Ionic+™ Antimicrobial internal lining activates in case of perspiration, keeping the skin fresh and odors under control.
GLASSES STORAGE: The front openings are not only for ventilation, but also provide a safe place to store your glasses. Special Unobtainium® lugs secure the temples in place, while a second goggle station is located on the back of the helmet, a unique feature of the DRT5 Maven.
GLASSES INTEGRATION: the visor with four adjustments protects the face and eyes from dust and sunlight, as well as being another excellent alternative for storing glasses. The DRT5 Maven helmet was designed based on the characteristics of our Airbrake MTB goggle, offering a perfect fit in combination with this model.
DESIGN: the DRT5 Maven helmet features an Iridium® coated logo badge, recalling the Prizm™ lens colors of Oakley eyewear. The color of the badge varies according to the color of the helmet, but all pay homage to Oakley's great heritage in the world of eyewear.
